Why Vitamin D???

Vitamin D deficiency has been associated with an increase in all-cause and CVD mortality. 1-4

More than 25 studies have explored the relationship between Vitamin D level and CVD, and most found that lower Vitamin D levels are associated with an increased risk of CVD.

Studies have shown that low Vitamin D levels are associated with hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, left ventricular hypertrophy, and chronic vascular inflammation, all of which are risk factors for CVD. 1-4
